Partials and dentures

Are removable devices used to replace missing teeth. A denture is used when a patient is missing all of their teeth and a partial is used when there are still teeth remaining. The partial requires good teeth to “hook onto” to stay in place. The teeth will be evaluated to determine if they can serve to hold a partial in place. Often times, a denture may be held in place with dental implants, which allow for a more secure option of the denture. All of these options can be discussed with Dr. Knutson to determine which is right for you!
