At Knutson Family Dental to allow us to visualize the teeth beyond what can be seen during a clinical examination. The x-rays allow us to see things such as areas of decay between teeth, the extent of the decay, any signs of infection, bone loss, cysts, and eruption pattern of teeth. Certain x-rays show us different things and may not need to be taken at every visit. Our hygienists will discuss which x-rays are needed at your hygiene visits.
